I am honored to announce Congressman Swalwell has endorsed me for Castro Valley School Board and he will be joining me for a virtual conversation on Saturday, July 18, 2020 from 3:00 pm - 3:45 pm as part of my campaign kick-off. 
 
I first met Eric Swalwell at a small gathering of Castro Valley residents who were learning about his audacious campaign to become our Congressman. Since then, he has been a consistent supporter of our Castro Valley efforts for greater local control and has consistently stood with our community.

Eric was one of the first lawmakers to support my fight for greater democracy for Castro Valley in a campaign for an elected Municipal Advisory Council. He understood the call to action in the “Castro Valley Stands United Against Hate” campaign I helped organize - a poster I hand delivered to him hangs in his DC office. He was there with us in Castro Valley to mourn the shooting massacres at Pulse in Orlando and at a concert in Las Vegas.

His support of my community activism is a vital part of what calls me to public service to tackle the perpetual funding crisis our schools face and help build a more resilient, accountable, and transparent Castro Valley Unified School District.
